8-4 is about as good as we can hope for. If one of those 8 wins is against Nebraska then it will be a very successful season IMO

Just had a weird thought.

OB retires.  Coaching search fails, RP is hired.  RP hires Raheem Morris.  KSU does decent, Morris gets job at TB.  Gruden let go, replaced by Morris.  Freems gets drafted by TB.  Gruden becomes a KSU Cat?


Circle of life, man. 

If OB didn't retire/coaching search didn't fail, then Morris never becomes TB coach, Freems drops to third round, and Gruden has a job.
