Much better than.

This is always true.  The extra low super bent look was/is as horrid as the flat bill look

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I refuse straight bill.  Refuse.  Like SD I go with the super curved 90s look and i won't change any time soon.  Back then I used to work the bill relentlessly and I stored my hats with the bill wrapped around a baseball with a rubber band for ridiculous amounts of curvy-ness.

Frankly, I don't care how old it makes me look.  Wear hats often, especially in the summer.

Get out of my thoughts.

It is also ultra-rad and completely ridiculous looking to tuck your ears underneath your flat-billed ball cap these days.

I suppose it does keep your ears from getting sunburned. :dunno:

wear a hat 24-7 and not even balding.  Feel weird and no before backing out of the garage if i don't have a hat on. Forward with a slight bend or heavy bend... depends on the hat.  always wear it forward and straightforward, because the old joke.

Q: you a catcher or welder?

 neither why?

A: cause those are the only two professions i know that wear there hat backwards besides a male genitals sucker....

ZING!!! then proceed to punch them in the face

Flat Brim Hats

What do you guys think about this trend?

I have been wanting an official New Era Royals hat for a long time but every time I'm determined to find one at Lids, 90% of them have the huge front and even bigger brim that make me look absolutely ridiculous. The other 10% look pretty shitty and I'm not a fan of most flex-fits.  The hat is so deep on the 59fifty I would have to put my ears inside the hat for it to go all the way down (which some people do for some reason).

I actually started hunting on ebay to find an older version, but couldn't find anything.  Eventually I found out that New Era makes a 59fifty low crown version which you can't find anywhere, but they sell them online so I crossed my fingers and ordered it.  Came in today and it's actually pretty nice.  Fits my head perfect, it's not too deep, and the brim is still oversized and flat but after bending it some it's looking better.  The huge front is gone so it fits more like the old style.  Here's a pic:

Anyways, I'm not sure if anybody else has been frustrated by not being able to find a good hat lately, but just in case I figured I'd share my thoughts.

I'm sure there are going to be hat haters out there, but I don't need your douchey opinions on why adults shouldn't wear hats on a regular basis.

Biebs but even whiter which is why I can't pull them off.  That hat he has on is a good example of what I was trying to get away from.  In the CB picture you can see how he tucks his ears inside too.

I think its impossible to get away from the mushroom top unless you have broken the hat in over time. fwiw

Forward

Backwards: Flat Bill is necessary

Can also be worn forward as long as you have broken in the hat and you don't have the mushroom top head effect. Can either be flat bill or curved.
