Seeing Lord Huron tonight with MSLH at the Root Room. Hoping to see FJM in Lawrence Sunday night.

good choices! You should also check out Futurebirds at the Riot Room in early July.

FJM is sold out in SF. :frown:

Escondido was the opener and they were good. It it's approximately 1000 degrees in the riot room.

Yeah, he did that last night too. He does a lot of interacting with the crowd. There was about a 2 minute q & a session.

Lord Huron was great. Good show, cool guys who had beets with us after the show as we watched the bat cats lose to OSU.

Next show I'm looking forward to is Yeasayer on the 28th.

Holy crap I'm loving Jason Isbell's new album.  Also, he snuck a really solid eff word in there that caught me off guard.

WARNING:  Do not listen to this if you're drunk and alone.

Actually that may be the best time to listen to it.

I have an alert in my phone for December to buy tickets for next year.  By the time I think about it, they are always sold out.  You going?

Yeah. Have a few family members who have been going forever. This will be my 3rd. Started trying for tickets as soon as they went on sale and ended up getting a good amount. They went real quick, though. Would suggest having multiple people try for them. We had the whole office working on it and were able to get the number we needed. Not a particularly big fan of bluegrass music in general, but it is by far and away my favorite festival.
