Gov't Mule and The Revivalists tonight at The Uptown. Don't know much govt mule but the revivalists played at my friend's party a few years back and are very good.

Hmm... Just saw this, oops.

Anyway, The Revivalists were really really good, and the drummer came out to watch gov't mule with us then brought us back stage (fanning brag) to hang out and drink cheap 'Mark Twain' bourbon with them afterwards.

They were apparently staying at the Econolodge in NKC so I should probably point them to the CC thread.

Probably behind the curve on this but per the recommendo of Pexikan, I have been enjoying Fitz & the Tantrums.  Neo-Soul is just fun.
