So it looks like will.i.am sampled from someone and didn't seek to do it through the proper channels. Here's the new song -

and here's the song it's from -

twitter feed for one of the 2 guys who made the song:

I'm not sure if I'd go to Outside Lands if I got a free ticket. (That's a lie, I would. But I wouldn't pay much for one.) Napa's Bottle Rock Fest had a more interesting lineup. (even if it does skew more to the adult contemporary side of things): http://bottlerocknapavalley.com/lineup

Bonnaroo maybe had the most awesome lineup ever in festival history.

I don't think I posted about it. Where would you stay? I've never been to OSL but it's an awesome location. The Napa one is in downtown Napa which seems like it would be pretty pud.

that park is really cool and people watching is fun :)  i've been to the bay area a few times but have never been to napa and kinda feel like a pud because of it. :frown:

haven't taken a serious look at napa accommodations yet - dunno if ms tobias could get off work in time for it anyways.  guess i'll give her tomorrow morning to figure that out

It's been stuck in my head for the past 2 hours.

here's another version:

!

such a good video! When Pharrel and Niles look at each other!

it looks like all of them are just patchwork versions of a longer version of what aired in that commercial. either way its a fun listen.

Has anyone heard of songza.com? It's kind of like pandora but instead of picking a band you pick what kind of mood you're in, what genre, etc. They have a playlist for Coachella up right now, so that's fun. It's really easy, you don't need an account or anything.

I went to Vampy Weekend last night. It's been a long time since I've been to a show that big. Whether or not you like them, they're pros and very good at what they do.

Listening to "Brass Monkey" right now on SiriusXM. That song has held up to the test of time.

Har Mar is the rough ridin' best. Here his performing for a bunch of kids (and being interviewed by a 4th grader). So wonderful and inappropriate.

And have you heard his new song? Different direction for him.

Har Mar is playing SF for $10, but it's on a Sunday. His show in LA has a certain Josh Tillman opening, also $10. :frown:

Leave Home was an excellent album, but they seem to have come off that a little. Haven't seen them live, but know they typically bring a lot of energy. Linked my fav. song below.

May see him in Denver May 1st.  Har Mar and Prince in a 2 week stretch may be a sensory overload though.  We will see
