So a lot of my coworkers have been discussing how awesome the Kid Rock concert was this past weekend. I should quit, right? That guy blows.

Oh and to make it even worse, they think Buck Cherry, who opened for Kid Rock, was above average.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I can see Buck Cherry being above average, if you include all bands in the world. I bet a Kid Rock concert would be fun, but more than I would like to spend.

Buckcherry opened at Rockfest (white trash people watching fest) one year that I went and they put on a pretty good show.  I stand by their first album being legitimately pretty good.

Kid Rock opened for Aerosmith back in 2002 or so at the (Insert Corporate Sponsor Here) Ampitheater in Bonner Springs.  He was pretty damn good and then seemed like he began his slide to douchetown shortly after that. The highlight of his show was when he went around the stage and played every instrument.

I go back and forth on Tune-yards between them being really good and interesting and then just thinking they are weird for the sake of being weird.

you should just watch the whole show (or at least the Tuneyards part (Edward Sharpe is pretty good too)). She's amazing.

I liked their first album when I was in high school, but their other stuff is just awful, and I don't even think I would still like their first album all that much if I were to go back and play it today.

So, does Madness by Muse sound like a George Michael song or am I crazy?

Sound more like Numb off of U2's Zooropa.

Saw this band on SNL this weekend. I'm probably way behind the times but I thought they were great.

Yes, this thread will keep you ahead of the curve if people choose to update it. But better late than never cfod!

it happens to all of us. they first caught my ear about a year ago. I looked to see if they were playing in the bay. They had a sold out show that night at the independent. :frown:
