Won't top seeing the Lips in Liberty Hall last summer, but it will be good.

And that didn't top the even more intimate venue I saw them in the summer before that. But I'm sure your experience was cool, too.

Bro, I was at the parking garage

Not really

That is either a terrible comparison or a horrible statement on the modern day

He just sauntered on in here wearing a pair of boot-cut Wrangler Anglers.  He's out of his element.

hmmm. I don't think there's really a Prince of any era except the Prince of Prince's era.

Bruno Mars is a very talented dude, however. Don't dismiss him because he's popular.

I wasn't either, just think that Prince's musical talents are rivaled by only an elite few, and I don't include Bruno in that class.

I know that while he helps write his songs, he isn't listed as the primary songwriter on any of the songs he has released. It's early in his career, but he hasn't got an album that approaches one of Prince's top 4 or 5 albums.  Also doesn't do his own production or play all the music on his albums. Look, the dude has serious singing chops, but Prince is on another level.

(I know, I took the KC :bait: )

Oh man. What I love about Tom Petty is that you can listen to every song he's done. None of them are stinkers.

This is not true. When I get onto a computer I will find some stinkers.

Mods, can we get separate Tom Petty and Prince threads going, please? Mods?
