I know that while he helps write his songs, he isn't listed as the primary songwriter on any of the songs he has released. It's early in his career, but he hasn't got an album that approaches one of Prince's top 4 or 5 albums.  Also doesn't do his own production or play all the music on his albums. Look, the dude has serious singing chops, but Prince is on another level.
