New John Frusciante EP Letur-Lefr has leaked:

download:

Pretty good if you are into some pretty eclectic electronica-ish stuff, my favorite song FM starts at the 8:23 mark of the youtube video.

You shouldn't have to read an analysis of a performance to enjoy a friggin song.

Here is a track where he raps over Alexander's "Truth":

Pitchfork has a great lineup. You should definitely go one of the days. I especially enjoy the white-friendly rap lineup. Danny Brown, Schoolboy, A$AP, Kendrick Lamar, are you kidding me????

Maybe he's good live or something. I don't get it either. All I know is that a lot of people in SF jerk it to any tiny little thing he does. My god it gets old. And then you have all these copycat bands that are worse versions of Ty Segall. And people love them too and I just wonder what in the world is going on.

That sucks for you. Most stuff I can usually understand why it's popular even if I don't like it. Like, when I sing the "do-do-do-do-DO!-do-do" part from Party Rock to myself over and over I can understand how it appeals to the masses. But not Ty Segall and his knockoffs. (but they don't really appeal to the masses, just the often idiotic SF bubble)

also, I listened to the entire new Twin Shadow album, on an excercise bike, right behind a guy on a stair machine yesterday.  try to gay that experience up more...  YOU CAN'T!  it's only like 40 minutes long and it makes you feel like you've done something because you sweated for an entire album.
