True story about the Radiohead show. Was with Tobias and Ms. Tobias, they left after 1st encore and then most people weren't sure if they would come back for a 2nd. All signs were pointing to the show being over, then I throw up a

. They came back and played a 2nd encore. True story.

they're a thing of the past. bands need to grow up and quit begging for more applause. what are they going to do, not come back out? hop on the bus and leave? no. some night a crowd should just leave after the band leaves the stage so when they come back out the people could be like, "ya you had your chance" and make the band feel like the dumbasses that they are. just imo.

I like it when someone takes a picture of their playlist and they have the encores already planned. I mean I know they're planned but it's just funny/sad to see.

i am not really sure what this means, but apparently radiohead changed up their encore after leaving the stage for the first time (adding myxomatosis and nixing street spirit as the closer). i really think its just a small bit of time for bands to collect themselves, and get some water/smoke drugs/snort coke/call mom/whateva.

i guess my point is that they had already planned for a double encore, and had the songs planned out. i kinda agree with the point of view that they are supposed to be spontaneous, but for bigger bands it doesn't really make too much sense from a planning stand point. the encores i enjoy the most are the ones where it really is a pull from the audience that gets the band to come out. ex: saw built to spill some odd years ago at the bottleneck and they came out and played a 20 minute version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" for an encore. It was fantastic.

I like to think when bands to encores it's so they can go behind the curtain to smoke a bowl or do a rail. The probably just drink Vitamin Water, but it's more fun to imagine

my point is that i was relating a recently talked about band to your point. the fact that it was radiohead made no difference other than the fact that people had just talked about them prior to your little
