So, LCD Soundsystem put out this great little song back in 2002.  And I'm enjoying the crap out of it now.

When I was in college in the 90s I was an amateur music snob.  And now I'm nine years late to this song.  It's a perfectly ironic way to discover this song.  ("I hear that everybody you know/ is more relevant than everybody I know.")  Pretty much...I'm enjoying this song from every possible angle.

Also, I like this new video:

His lyrics are always so surprising good.  ("talking like a jerk/ except you are an actual jerk...")

"I'm thankful our MHK forefathers had the foresight to lynch white dudes so that we might be able to throw up the mob with a clear conscience."

I was backstage for LCD at Bonnaroo. :gocho:

It was at like 2 in the morning, and I was exhausted. :lame:

did you get to meet them? i saw them w/ arcade fire like 4 years ago but thought their show kind of sucked. that could have just been because arcade fire's was ridiculously awesome.
aren't you glad it wasn't you? - g.h.

no. I really have no desire to meet any musicians. And the James Murphy guy is kind of a pompous ass. Good music, although kind of repetitive.

did you go backstage because the view was better from behind then it would be from the front?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

actually, yeah. It was pretty crowded up front.

And I was really on the side. Would you like me to draw you a diagram?

I am going to see Toad the Wet Sprocket at the House of Blues in April.   Don't know what to think about it right now, but the tickets are free, so WTH.

Not really too new but definitely good and rarely heard, and he produces his own music.

Most of his stuff is really solid but this is probably my favorite, would use in a jake or  :ck: highlight video  :looksat_33:
