Country is just awful, awful music. Awful.
I'm a big big country fan

Interested to know the Springsteen fans' opinion of RS's list of top 100  Springsteen songs.

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-oscar-springsteen-songs-of-all-time-20140116

I STTB'd and I agree with a good portion of the Top 10. Not always the case with RS.

any list that doesn't start with thunder road at the very top let alone at #3 is off to a bad start. jungleland was way too low. ghost of tom joad is way too high, same with nebraska and the rising and wrecking ball. shut out the light was curiously high as well.

was glad to see darkness on the edge of town (album) so highly esteemed, it's his best imo. also tunnel of love (album), terribly underrated, got a lot of love, so that was nice. all in all, it's not a bad list. i've seen worse.

i would try Miniature Tigers, The Strokes, maybe Noah and the Whale, maybe the Shins. i'm sure there's at least a few songs you'd like in that group

Oh man, right on, here. Chutes too Narrow(album) is great.

It is good, but I actually like their newest album (2012) Port of Morrow the best.

At 96.5's Kegs and Eggs, just saw Ballyhoo. Enjoyable, not much substance. Lucious is up next.
