The new Gorillaz album is great so far.  I love the fact they collaborated with guys like Mos Def and Bobby Womack.  I haven't listened to all the songs yet, but the tracks I've heard so far are the sh*t.

Of all those hiphop songs rusty posted the only one i was really feeling is the pill track.  love the jay z beat that one dude was rapping over.

im not at all up to date on current music, but I have been revisiting some stuff that I've neglected for awhile.

Check out this album

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

exactly.

I haven't ventured into too much more of dubstep aside from Burial (who holds title to two of my favorite albums of the past decade but I have recently acquired a few other artists that I have yet to listen to. Was just wondering if that kind of music would be appreciated over here or if i should gtfo. I'll let you know how it goes.

^just listened to some of that dont get it.  :dunno: Good background music nothing that I would jam to in the car or anything.
It's kindof like listening to talk radio its just there.

you are either not doing one of the following:

1. Listening to it intently enough
2. Listening to it loudly enough
3. Listening to it for the first time
4. or its just not your thing

i didn't really think much of it until a few days  after when i found myself playing it over in my head over and over again. then i listened to the album a couple more times and came to realize some of the things that he was doing. it is by far and away one of the most important pieces of music to come about in the last 20 or 30 years. (imo) (and in pretty much any music critics opinion (ipmamco) that has a clue about contemporary music).

Bonobo - Black Sands

http://www.last.fm/music/Bonobo/_/1009

Burial is absolutely AMAZING!     It's weird to me that they're flown under the radar like they have.  I haven't ventured much into the dubstep world outside of them, I'm more of a String Cheese type guy, but I'd appreciate some recommendations.
aren't you glad it wasn't you? - g.h.

So, this Das Racist mixtape is pretty damn good.  It's goofy, but hard not to enjoy.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
