Basketball Tickets
« on: July 06, 2010, 11:06:05 AM »
Any word on when season basketball tix come out.  I have been splitting them with a friend under his name but are looking to purchase our own.  This might be a stupid question.  Anyone looking to get rid of theirs?

I have been splitting them too, but am also looking to get my own this year.

If I remember correctly, renews were by mid july last year and new season tix were in October.

I think the latter changes based on how long it takes them to assign the renew orders.

I heard through the grapevine that end of July but didn't know.  I also heard prices are going up this year as well.  Had seats in row 22 but looking for chair backs.  Should be interesting to see what pricing is especially donation.  metal seats we had were just 750 for the season and we split.  Not a bad deal just looking to go full time.

They better go up.  We need to keep paying 'te's salary so we can keep his invaluable recruiting.

I have been to some practices.  He coaches his a$$ off.  Not a animated coach on the sidelines.  Someone has to be the good cop on staff.  Dalonte has been here 4 years right?  I would say his DC Assault connection has paid off:  Beasley, Judge, McGruder, and Samuels.  Not a bad 4.  I am good with our staff.  Even Underwood brought in Nino who is a top 100.

Ron and Dom both played with DCA as well

30's.  Have a little girl and its in a good location with some leg room so she can move around.  You know, not all k-staters in row's 20 and above our old.  I see younger people in the front rows sitting down for most games.

Yeah I mean if you don't have a problem not having any fun or not being able to cheer or stand up at all during a game then they are great seats.

Are you talking about the seats at the top of Bramlege?  I don't know but there are some very hard-working k-staters who work their a$$ off to buy their tickets.  They are there at every game.  We would love to have courtide seats.

Yeah, I went to the KU game in 2008 in the chairbacks, and I was cheering like crazy and people behind me were telling me to sit down.  I was like. . . how about you stand up and do something, this is our biggest game in like 10 years. . .

just admit that you would take courtside seats in a second if you could afford them.  don't make excuses like you wouldn't sit there because you wouldn't have any fun.  you sound like a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) who thinks frank doesn't recruit one and doners cuz they don't fit the mold of his type of player.

Section 17 doesn't want losers that would rather sit in chairbacks.  There are heroes that bathe their young in the warm EMAW of Sec. 17.

jeez dumbass I never said I wouldn't sit courtside I said chairbacks. there is a difference, courtside is a party with the conductor of the party train being Garth.
Chairbacks is full of old people who want no part of the fun.

true on the courtside party.  even though the viewing angle is better(x100) from seatbacks.  i guess some people can make their own fun and don't need a bunch of trigs around them to make them lose their inhibitions.

maintaining correct posture is difficult after eating whole bag of free licorice.

YLA, isn't that Garth's seat?  or pretty close to?
