K-State Joins
Exclusive "PINK" Collegiate Collection
MANHATTAN, Kan. - Wildcat fans can now purchase K-State
merchandise from one of the top selling lines in the country as the school
announced today it has joined Victoria Secret's exclusive "PINK" Collegiate
Collection merchandise line.
Launched in 2004,
Victoria's Secret PINK is a fully articulated lifestyle collection for
college-aged women and features highly recognizable brand iconography and the
names and logos of select colleges and universities.
"The PINK Collegiate
Collection is one of the hottest selling lines in women's clothing, and we are
excited to join a select number of universities as a participant," said Tami
Breymeyer, K-State's director of licensing. "We appreciate the efforts of LRG
in expanding our brand and also Victoria's Secret for partnering with us and
providing Wildcat fans this popular line of apparel."
The PINK Collegiate
Collection, originally introduced in 2008, is an exclusive assortment of
co-branded merchandise which includes tees, shorts, hats, hoodies, and
sweats. To learn more information about the

The K-State merchandise
will be available at eight Victoria's Secret stores across Kansas as well as
online at
www.victoriassecret.com/pink beginning
August 6. Stores include Towne East, West Ridge, Town Center, Bradley
Fair, Central, Towne West, Manhattan Town Center and Oak Park.
K-State's inclusion in
the new PINK line is another progressive
step to further the school's national brand
under licensee Licensing Resource Group (LRG). Since K-State entered into its current
licensing agreement with LRG in July of 2010, licensing royalties for the
university eclipsed the $1 million mark for the first time in the department's
history and have increased to over $1.5 million.
