Don't see the problem. Gill and staff are obviously superior talent evaluators and have got in on these kids before the big boys. If you watch the videos you can clearly see they are mostly "diamonds in the rough". All you can hope is that they stay loyal when the "big boys" come calling. Also, stars are meaningless. They just give stars to recruits of "big time" schools. I'd rather have a 3-star kid who has something to prove than a 5-star kid who thinks he's entitled. You've got to consider the "right fit" as well. Big time schools probably cooled on these guys when they committed to KU. Securing the border.
UPDATE: 11 players in and still none with a competing Big XII offer. GOOD NEWS, however, WE OWN TULSA. Absolutely OWN them.East CarolinaMemphis (2 different kids)OhioTulsa (4 different kids!)Louisiana TechNew Mexico (3 different kids)New Mexico StateUtahUtah StArizonaLouisvilleSouthern MissWyoming (2 different kids)Colorado StateFlorida StateHawaiiNevadaGeorgia SouthernLouisiana Lafayette
in the end, EMAW will always win.
A player with 2 stars and 5 heart is way more important than the other way around
Ben now just lurks and then goes back and whines about what is posted here in Tardville.Really calling out WtW on this one.
Securing the border.
KU's recruiting class is solid, especially the recent o-line commitments. If KU can get Darrian Miller back in the fold, this class has a chance to be really good.

KU's recruiting class is better than K-State's at this point. It won't even be close once Maurice Couch commits.
"I'm down to South Carolina and Tennessee. I'm going to wait until I go visit Tennessee to make my decision."When asked if he had indeed informed the media that he had committed to Tennessee, Couch said that it was true, but that he was no considering himself committed to the Vols yet."Yeah, but I'm not ready yet."

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
Beer pro tip: never drink anything other than BL, coors, pbr, maybe a few others that I'm forgetting
