Visiting my brother at Menorah Hospital and would love to know a good golf course close that is a) good and b) open when it's colder.

closer than Iron Horse is Deer Creek @ 135th and Metcalf. Menorah is @ 119 @ Nall.

Got invited to play tomorrow. Turns out it's at Sycamore Ridge, which a quick google maps search informed me that it's in Spring rough ridin' Hill.

Anyone played there?

that's colbert's course in KC. front is links style, lots of prairie, etc. back is in the woods, more traditional design. it wasnt bad a decade ago when i played there last. there's some cool visuals on the back 9. close to bonita flats.

Iron Horse is nice but I agree on Swope. Not as hard, but is prob the prettiest course in KC.

swope is also known for its superb disc golf course
