Terry's?  :dunno:

:drink:

Terry's Bar & Grill on 6th or Terry's Billiards on 21st and Gage?

I assume you mean B&G, the Billiards place is seedy.  B&G has decent bar food I guess. Good chicken fried steak dinner.

I meant 21st & Gage  :embarrassed:

Only went there one time. The Capital-Journal sports staff frequents that place. Kind of reminded me of an old Philly corner bar. Think I had a burger. It was pretty good.
Went there for lunch many a time to play free pool.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

 :ohno:

Yep, you two almost certainly share partners.  Don't sweat it, GWW...I  cleaned up after Limestone tons of times and ended up clean as a whistle.

Ever consider writing a Topeka fact book?

Odd mix of opinions about Topeka in this thread.  You have Saul, who is as proud as punch about his home town.  Then you have several others who loathe it.  Then you even have still others who seem to be glad that they don't live there, but do harbor some fond feelings of the ol' town.

It's a shithole, but it's my home town so I have to stick up for it a bit, ya know?

It gets a lot of hate.  I'm cool w/ that, sometimes it can suck here for certain reasons but those reasons are the same reasons Lawrence and Manhattan might suck.

Just kidding. Manhattan never sucks!

I used to count money from Sasnak when I was a bank teller in HS.  :shy:

Did that money (and your hands) smell "fishy" afterwords?   :ohno:

Fact: Topeka was once home to an amusement park, Boyles Joyland. Creepy clown d00d was mascot. Spent many a summer there.

In an entirely unrelated matter, picked up a divorced 30'ish mother of 3, one night, at a Topeka bar. Was a 22 year old young man's bucket list item.

Seems like I remember something about buildings being taller than the capitol...  I think they started counting the spire on top of the dome or something like that to raise it's height...

Topeka is the 2nd safest capital city in the county.

Unless there are only 3 cities and they're all capitols, one of those facts is wrong.  I'm guessing Ben is wrong.

Topeka is the largest city in Western Kansas.

Good info, very high geography/lat-long iq. Wichita is the largest city in northeastern New Mexico. Manhattan is the largest city in the Nubb panhandle. Garden City is the largest city in a place that does not exist.

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?
