Orlando Wal*Mart
« on: June 19, 2010, 07:17:03 PM »
I felt like I was about to get mugged/raped
It all started by seeing a very elite group of puerto ricans talking in their native tongue, two seconds later I saw a bald african woman and that is where things went down hill...Next I saw a dwarf thing guy, He kinda had sauls hair cut. Next I saw this trailer trash family, which said excuse me and like the good human being I am I got out of the way, to make a long story short they all smelled like crap. Shortly after that I picked up some honey buns and this lady had 4 children on leashes..one african american one hispanic one asain and one white, another weird situation. This is somewhat funny but this other mom (oreo) was telling her son to get some mtn dew, bro got Root Beer...Mom then preceeded to call son Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) (d00d had the downsyndrome look). The whole place was packed also, I could barely get the cart around the circus freaks. Finally the checkout process I commented on how yummy the honey buns are and the lady checking me out..was well checking me out...Asked if I was a tourist (I was wearing a "EMAW" shirt and a k-state hat) I was fed up and scared so I said "excomm'd" She said "what,?" and then winked at me...I left without getting my change of $2.64

Lots of other weird crap went on while I was in there just can't remember it all....Can't wait to get back home :frown:

EDIT: I miss Dillions

So, what you're saying is that the Orlando Wal-Mart is the Ellis Island of Wal-Mart's?

One time in Orlando, I think my 2nd or 3rd visit I was about 12 years old, walking out of some Walmart a homeless guy came up to me and tried to sell me some tires.

There was a really scary/crappy wal mart down on parallel in KCK.  They closed it when they opened the one at the Legends.  Now all the scary/smelly people have invaded the Legends.  Its the nearest store to my house that you can get most things including groceries, but I avoid unless I'm sneaking in lawn and garden supplies.

You have not seen a freak show Wal*mart until you've been to the Pittsburg Wal*mart.  And all three in the Joplin, MO area are a damn close 2nd.

Wal-Mart markets exclussively to the lower rung, hence the selection of crap.

The next time you see Buffet shopping in one, you'll know sump'n wrong.

Still remember the wally commercial I saw several years ago.  Only saw it once but laughed my ass off.  Had some gal proclaim proudly that her fiancee had gotten her engagement ring at Wal Mart.

Worked at the one in Webb City for 5 months, overnight. Wasn't as bad as expected tbh. There were some regulars that smelled like cat crap though.

That's the one we normally go to.  REALLY wish the Target was a Super Target and a little closer to us.  This past weekend that WC Walmart was a ZOO!  Thankfully we won't be around here much longer.
