Will we see Act 3 of Kim Guilfoyle?  Would really sell his new act. He could play to be what Don wants Don Jr to be.

It’s going to be a stacked field with Newsom and Fetterman.  Will be interesting to see what Pete, Shapiro, and Wittmer do. Do they want to run in this environment or are they going to take the Sasse exit?

The thing is, gavin can't run on anti-trans rights because

A) he's been too friendly to gays in the past, Republicans will hammer him on that
B) no matter how far to the right or cruel he goes, Republicans will always be farther right and crueler

The alternative position is to actually stand up for marginalized groups (something national Dems didn't do AT ALL in 2024)

Regardless he will get mercilessly hammered by taking the "you know what I agree with Charlie Kirk" stance. From both sides! AOC and Barney Cotton will both murder him

I think the path to victory is doubling down on the strategy that put Liz Cheney front and center. They just didn't do it hard enough last time!

Also, how is it even possible that after seeing the Repub absolute shitshow since Trump 1 and now even moreso with Trump 2, the opposing party could still be this unpopular? Its remarkable. Obama's old shoe would sweep any current election and yet they are throwing out names like Newsome and Cuomo.

It is remarkable. But they need to have a 2016 pub thunderdome to settle it, not a thumb on the scale 2016 like they did

The entire primary system is mumped up and stoopid.  In what world does it make sense to essentially pick a candidate before over the half the country has had a chance to vote on it? I realize that funding a national campaign if more expensive then just the first 10 states in the primary election cycle but you don't need to spend 3 months in Iowa talking to every single registered voter, we have platforms that can literally reach anyone in the country at any time.  Let everyone vote at the same rough ridin' time.

Both of these parties get enough money in donations to easily fund a national campaign.
