I don't know if it's more that Shedeur is really good or more that the entire offense is designed to make him look really good.
They had -29 yards rushing and almost won. Pretty incredible to do that without any sort of rushing threat

Shedeur having -50 rushing is a big part of that. He is a very good qb and I hope Avery develops his passing ability, but he has terrible pocket presence. The Colorado OL is bad, but a three man rush shouldn’t be as effective as it was even if there were literal traffic cones for an OL.

Still, their leading rusher had only 10 yards!

I don't think Deion is going to be around to find out

4-2 isn’t bad. Also, he stacks the sideline with cool ppl. CU probably loves that.

It won't be CU making the decision

Yea I'm sure CU would love to keep him. Stands are full, primo TV slots, national spotlight.  I think it was a 2 year mission to showcase his kid as a P4 QB and springboard him into a 1st round NFL draft pick. Mission accomplished.  He's probably got 5-7 years left of good coaching if he wants to and I'm guessing he doesn't want to do it at broke ass Colorado. I'd think he could do some serious damage on the recruiting trail at an SEC school like UF.

That guy slapping DJamer in the head after getting skettibrained is a real dumbdumb

I literally said the same thing to my group who were all watching the game together.

Colorado highlight pack. Either CU really sucks at tackling or #31 is a human bulldozer. I think a lot of both. Our D-line feasted on Sanders.

AJ's trip to the locker room was described as being in response to pain just above his left hip.  Word on the street is that CU fans managed to stick him with a syringe, and they took him to the locker room for a bank of toxicity tests.  I could be wrong.

If QB1 succumbs to hepatitis as a result of traveling to that cesspit, the Cats win will go down in history as the ultimate Pyrrhic victory.

My first trip to Boulder:

-The atmosphere at Folsom was great.
-I couldn't really see any traditions that were fun though. It was loud when good stuff happened but nothing that I thought was cool or different. Dunno.
-The stadium itself not so great.
-I guess Memorial isn't the only stadium utilizing port-a-potty technology.
-There is definitely a tension between fans in this stadium I haven't experienced before. Although we chatted with many CU fans around us that were perfectly friendly.
-The fight you might have seen on Twitter was in the section next to us. We didn't have any bad run ins with fans. Just a lot of people shouting things from a distance. The funniest of which was probably 'you'd have to be a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to live in Manhattan KS.'  :dunno:
-Pearl Street was kind of disappointing. We went both Friday night (fine) and after the game Saturday. (everything was closed)
-Overall a fun trip made even better by the W.

Appreciate the intel _33. I missed out on going to a game @CU when they were still in the Big 12 and I was in college. Glad we got them back in the rotation.

I think the giant buffalo running around the field is a pretty cool tradition. Being shitbags is another Colorado tradition but I don't think it's very cool!

I have been to quite a few road games throughout the last fifteen years. Definitely had more nasty crap yelled at us here than any other venue outside of KU (and even KU isn't nasty just general crap talking). It was definitely worse than the last time I went to Boulder when CCQ was QB.

I've probably been to 30ish D1 stadiums and it's the only place I've ever been where the fans threw crap at their own players.

That about sums it up.

I don't think Deion is going to be around to find out

Sure not recruiting like he's going to be. His high school recruiting is abhorrent, LHC Bill Snyder was never this bad.

My high school did it in the early 90s

It’s gotta improve with that much NIL, doesn’t it?

 :excited: hell yes.

BTW had the 30th reunion this past weekend, had a tour of the old high school, the only thing that has changed is the atrium in now a secondary cafeteria and everything is painted blue instead of brown and gold

Yes, that's what he's done the last two years and he has no depth or development in the program. Also they don't have a ton of nil money.
