I don't think we'll be able to accrue or hold onto this much talent on a regular basis.

Such a weird game.   Down by 29 and have >120 more yards than BYU

As you probably know, 35 of their 38 points were scored thusly:
TD drives of 27, 29, and 38 yards
Fumble return TD
Punt return TD

They discovered a way to win big without accumulating total yards.  It's like a more ridiculous version of what we did to Arizona last week.

Yea we returned 3 starters and and brought in a 5th year transfer that half the SEC wanted to play LT.

It was always going to be hard for us to win without scoring any TDs. 

Come on this wasn't some close loss.  We got dominated.  The only reason we out gained them on yards was because they didn't have to drive down the field.  They probably could have if they needed to. Our defense was a sieve in the second half.

Well they aren't good enough to convince me this is as good as it will get for us

We outgained BYU by 120 yards, out-possessed them by 6 minutes, and got 17 first downs to their 14.

This game was 100% determined by mistakes, which could be fixed within a week. It doesn't mean we're going to be playing for a Big 12 championship, but it also doesn't really say much in the opposite direction.

This, i truly believe this is the least disciplined OL in 15 years. The amount of penalties on a center tonight is unacceptable and totally avoidable

I think they were trying to hard and therefore making mistakes.

Easiest way to avoid it is not playing a night game in a different timezone in front of the loudest crowd probably any of those guys has seen (aside from the KSU Cats on defense of course).
