Right, to me hotdish implies cooked and needs to be kept warm (hot) to serve. I suppose conversely a cold dish (not used much) would imply either something cooked/prepped but is served cold/chilled, like a charcuterie board or cold cuts or like potato salad.

his dog is named Scout and he was a rescue who was left on the side of the road in OK when he was a puppy
