Who? Like some people on twitter? The progressives within the Democratic party who matter certainly are behind her. The squad were the first ones who endorsed her. AOC called for her before Biden even resigned. The progressive donors drove that early money push. I honestly do not think that JD Vance wants to do things to harm childless adults, nor do I think he wants to unduly benefit parents over non-parents.

However, he sure does do quite a bit to add fuel to the fire of the leftist conspiracy nuts who are saying that JD hates childless people and wants to give them fewer rights/freedoms/benefits.

It would be super great for the GOP if he profusely apologized and/or shut the eff up.

I hope he doesn't. Not just because it may turn off some voters, but because I can at least appreciate it when these shitbags dig in to their ridiculous stances on things. As someone above stated, none of these comments are going to affect the R vote, which is insane to me, but it is what it is. If anything, apologizing may make it even worse for him at this point at least with the base.

I agree and that’s really disappointing. Certainly this exact conversation has been debated many times amongst GOP leadership in the last week or so I’m confident there are plenty who participated in the debate. Don’t like what he said. Unfortunately they are losing the debate inside the GOP.

Guys, maybe these are just the dues that we all have to pay in order to get a legitimate third-party. This country does not change without super huge pain.
