Greg you should start collecting fancy whiskey/bourbon. And sure that may SOUND expensive but like, don't order crap online just make a scavenger hunt of it. Like ok today I'm going to go to a few liquor stores and see if I can find a bottle of Blanton's. Chances are you won't, and the act of the hunt is what kind of becomes fun. And when you do find it, cool! And you probably won't want to chug it that fast bc of how long it took you to find it. And then after a couple years you got you a Garrison Bros, a Stagg, maybe a Weller's. Classy ASF.

Also, you'll look like a gentleman about town when hosting guests. In fact the most expensive aspect of this hobby is the velvet smoking jackets you will want to have when hosting sexy parties
A previous colleague was on the hunt for a particular Pappy Van Winkle last year, but not sure if he ever found it. Another colleague collects 4-figure bottles. I'll just stick to cheap Woodford, Wellers, Crown, and Makers.
For the bourbon hobbyist, do the under $30 challenge. You'll find some surprisingly good bottles in the price range. Ya some will suck and be better used as a fire starter, but you'll find some gems that change your go-to consumption habits.

Yes and for any friends who want cool shirts.

I was already pretty decent with photoshop but now with AI I can create a ton cool stuff.  My wife and I had a tshirt business several years ago with the goal to eventually quit our corporate jobs. We did ok but working 40+ hours a week plus our business and then trying to attend all kids’ activities was too much.

I always enjoyed the design process and now my kid has graduated high school, I should have plenty of extra time.

I’ve always wanted to make my own bootleg & designed shirts.  I was always just going to find a site where you upload your own designs to sell & assume they would just slip though & I’d buy them from that site.

I thought about screen printing my own, but my artist wife got very angry at me for wanted to “steal” other people’s art.

Mrs Hamburg has gotten very into wood turning. She joined a local club that had a “learn to turn” class. The club has very nice lathes & have open turn every other week. We bought a high-end lathe from a guy in the club that got too old turn, but she also rarely misses the open turn at the club.

if you want to pay $35 for every shirt. You can get a lot of “stolen” images printed.  Most have enough AI to detect logos of sports teams and prevent you from uploading those.

Make me an Avery Johnson shirt where he is a golden haired purple hearted football Jesus and I will purchase 5. (Needs to have a powercat or something like that on there at least).

I have personally held TBT's Lego Millennium Falcon in my lap, because he had been letting it ride shotgun.

Also, holy crap, were Legos always this expensive? (adjusted for inflation).

If you buy a complete opened Lego set eBay, can keep all the pieces together, & can keep the box from getting damaged, you can resell & get 75% of your money back after eBay selling fees & shipping.

Holy smokes.  Way to go, Pete.

I heard a different one the other morning.  White breasted nuthatch!  I was very proud of myself for noticing a different one and having the wherewithal to investigate.
