I'm having a hard time remembering the last time the Cats didn't play during prime time if we're being honest.

I think it's on ESPN and not +. I'll check. Normally when it's on ESPN I can't get it. When it's not I can find it. I only have Hulu w + or I have to stream.

Iowa doesn’t have basketball fans I guess? This has got to be the quietest venue we’ve played at all year.

Of all the annoying coaches to xo our face off, this Fran guy is only 2nd to permanently shrunken shirt at Iowa state. Iowa must be the Mecca for annoying coaches

Speaking of annoying - this team is the polar opposite of the women's team. That's a joyful experience- even in losses. This team is just so damn unpleasant to watch for large stretches of game time.

If you like guys who try really hard for 40 minutes then they’re actually a lot of fun!

(That was me doing a rusty impression)

And by try really hard i mean except for the sloppy play and constant turnovers and prolonged scoring droughts and

I’m excited for next season just because the odds are very good we won’t be ranked in the 300s in turnovers two years in a row.

I caught the end of whatever game was before ours and the refs were even worse. At the end they just casually walked off and both teams weren’t totally clear the game was even over. NIT definitely brings the B Teamers.

Well. I got to go to the game in Vegas and see us win at home against KU. See you guys next season.

It'll be interesting to see who returns.  We'll probably have a big turnover and that's probably not a terrible thing.

We will lose a ton.  This is going to be nuts.  Would love to keep buddy.  The rest are just parts

KU has some work to do, too. Billy Self (his actual, legal name on his birth cert) needs to come up big in the portal. We can't have another season like this, though it gets even harder with Zona coming in.

wut? Buddy should be like 6th or 7th on the priority list of players to return. My guess is, we'll have 6 or 7 defections, counting the three players who are out of eligibility.

Most seasons going forward for KU are going to look like this now. NIL and the transfer portal have made it nearly impossible to hoard talent anymore.

I'm not sure how big of an NIL warchest that we came up with but I think tang is going to go especially hard in the paint this year.  I would expect 6 spots to fill and 6 players remaining plus Castillo.
