Everyone should take glycine though. It’s got tons of benefits. And it’s cheap.

Has anyone done a test to see if they were deficient in any vitamin type areas? I take various vitamins off and on, but am terrible at taking things consistently. I guess if I had a test that said I was deficient in an area, I would prob stick to it more. I could also go the SD route and just take 300 different things to ensure I wouldn't be deficient in anything.

I get my bloodwork done by my pcp to make sure that the copious amounts of supplements I take don’t get anything into unsafe territory.

NR/NMN makes me feel noticeably different. Like, vibrant, colors brighter, pep in step. basically meth I guess but chiller. I don't really deal with body aches but people say it helps that a lot too.
do you have a brand recommendo? i’ve been waiting for this to show up at the ‘co but it hasn’t so i’m looking for another dealer

Between the NAD injections, test, HGH, workouts, and starting to drink hydrogen water throughout the day.....I feel like I'm 30 again.  Mental clarity and focus is off the charts.

I ended up buying Thorne NiaCel 400. Basically because reddit said it was also A tier but you get 60 capsules (415mg) for $70 vs prohealth you get 30 capsules (500mg) for $90 vs True Niagen you get 60 capsules (500mg) for $116.

So I went for the cheapest A tier but I will get a little less NR per capsule.

I bought an Echo Flask.  I tried a cheaper one first and after a short time it became obvious why it was so cheap.

Turns out about 30% of gelatin is glycine, so I'm already getting a lot of that. Though I might take it at night instead of mornings now.

I want to wake up feeling like I'm 25, but I don't know if there has been any supplement that has made me feel noticeably different. Flax seed oil did a long time ago, but haven't even been able to recreate that.

All that said, I still take nac, multi, magnesium, turmeric, and fish oil along with aforementioned gelatin and creatine lol.

NR/NMN makes me feel noticeably different. Like, vibrant, colors brighter, pep in step. basically meth I guess but chiller. I don't really deal with body aches but people say it helps that a lot too.

Ashwaganda will sometimes. I cycle off and on with it. I will feel calmer when I'm taking it.

Glycine/Inositol/L-Theanine/Mag L-Threonate makes me sleep noticeably better. I've always struggled with wakefulness so it's easy to notice.

Let's, hypothetically of course, pretend I'm not rich af. Is there one or two super affordable things I should take? I take Vitamin D in the winter but that's about it.

actually would probably start with what do you want to accomplish. then could answer. magnesium glycinate/malate/l-theonate are things that basically the entire population needs to take imo. D3 also (but you've covered that). probably need K2 with that D3 for complicated reasons. the NAD+ ones I posted about are more old man 40+ things I'd recommend investing in but you're young. CoQ10 is one I'd recomend for the same cohort. Creatine obviously. some sort of electrolyte (potassium, sodium, magnesium) is good for everyone. can do real salt for that one.

this is the salt everyone should use for cooking and other stuff. also good to just scoop some in a shaker with water:

I scoop their electrolyte chowder every morning with my green chowder and creatine:

I'm no expert here, but the best thing to do is to eat healthy foods and maybe take a multi vitamin. Those are the things I try and do. I also scoop protein chowder after my daily workout. I take creatine off and on, but i'm terrible at taking it consistently so it prob does nothing for me. When I was trying to get huge I took it and I think it helped with recovery, but I was younger and that wasn't much of an issue for me. I will prob add a vitamin test to my bloodwork this year to see if I'm in need of anything else. I use to take a bunch of crap, but it many cases I found that whatever it was I was taking was either unnecessary unless I was deficient or not as good as eating actual food. YMMV so :dunno:

Man, I got back to one link, I pill a day and thought "damn, this is fantastic!".

Then the post after that was half Japanese, and then a post about salt and a DIY energy drink, then another about eating healthy (already do, thx).

So am I ignoring the first post and having ChatGPT translate the other crap for me or what, fellas?

Nah, in reality, just do your best. It's mostly a crapshoot in the end. I eat healthy for the most part and SD will prob live longer than me on a diet of nachos. I'd say eating healthy foods ups your chances for sure, but do what makes you happy and just know there isn't a magic pill.......yet.
