Louisville’s QB is remarkably bad.

Watch the committee just be like um... We've decided it will be an 8 team playoff this year

I’m just not convinced that FSU this year is any better than the undefeated UCF team that got left out.

Wasn't it the SEC who opposed expanding this year? Leave 'em out and go the unbeatens and the team who beat their champ. How I'd do it.

Based on how the committee ranked everyone going into this week, the easiest solution by far is leaving the SEC out.

The problem is no one honestly thinks that four teams are better than Georgia.

I think that's where they're in a pickle of they have to force the SEC in.   They have to drop FSU  2 spots to 6 for beating at top 15 team by 2 scores while simultaneously jumping Alabama 4 spots for beating Georgia.  Or they drop Georgia 5 spots for losing to a top 8 team and still drop FSU a spot for beating at top 15 team by 2 scores.

I say Alabama can be selected when Tooberville releases his hold on promotions.

Just read there was a bar in Cedar Rapids that offered a free beers until Iowa scores promotion. I assume it ended with the game.

You would hope they had that written in.

They were probably wheeling them out on stretchers by the 4th quarter.

The problem is no one honestly thinks that four teams are better than Georgia.

Georgia has done absolutely nothing on the field, this year, to justify this talking point. Every single other undefeated and one loss power five team has better wins than Georgia does. Georgia's schedule sucks and they should be punished for it. The only question with them is who is #7, Georgia or Ohio State.

I don't think the committee is going to penalize Florida State after they could have earlier this week and didn't. FSU's defense is nasty and, with Rodemaker they are good enough to give it a shot against Michigan or Washington. I think the top 4 will be
1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Florida State
5. Alabama
6. Georgia
7. Ohio State
8. Oregon
9. Ole Miss
10. PSU

The SECs best non conference win as a whole is Louisville?  I really don't know how they can come out and put Alabama in.  If they do, they need to go full bbs'n and put Georgia in too.

I mean I don't see how they justify putting Bama in without putting Georgia in, too. And I think it would be hilarious if they did that.

I think you need to do both or neither.

Bama is ahead of Georgia because of the head-to-head. But then how are they ahead of Texas? Because Bama's loss was better than Texas's? Well then Georgia has the best loss of the bunch!

I can't decide who will melt down harder if they get left out. Probably FSU but maybe UT.

This would probably be the end of the ACC.  The SEC and big 10 will get their picks and we can have the best of what's left.

Next year is the start of the 12 team playoff.  No conference champ of the ACC (or Big 12) will be left out again.
