I've been thinking about this, as well. It would suck to get recruited, come in as a freshman, buy-in, practice hard to earn playing time and then have players transfer in who are guaranteed playing time/usage in the program. I guess it is just a fact of life in the NIL/portal world but it still has to suck for these guys.

Eh. They practice together and it becomes obvious who should be on the floor. It's only an issue if the coaches are guaranteeing playing time and putting the worse player on the floor out of some sort of obligation.

Will there be fewer and fewer because they can make decent money trying to improve their game in college?

I feel like we've seen less already. Unless they are for sure top like 10 pick why bother with NBA for a bit.

Physically and emotionally exhaustedr, and had to play the late game against Xavier, as well (just as we did last year and in 88 against Purdue).
I remember watching eventual champion Duke play that year before the tournament and my bro and I agreeing they weren't tough enough to play with the Cats. Truly, the junkyard Cats would have mopped them.

What really hurts about our last four E8's (although I lost the ability to feel pain after the 2010 loss) is that it wasn't like we had the 1992 Duke team blocking our path to the F4 in any of those matchups. We faced a lower seed in all of those games.

Now that Tang has succeeded in brining the President to heel, and secured more money for all things bb, I expect to see some high dollar signing and some sweet sweet oops next season.

I dream of Rich running the court and Dug, Dai2, Castillo, etc hitting him from 35’ out with a poster oop.
