Seriously what fuckig hninig? Expressing disappointment at 16 team TOs and 7 from Nowell after a relatively clean game Tuesday .while being complimentary of the play and a number of players is too negative for some of you? Very tucklike attitude you're adopting of wearing only purple-colored glasses. I just hate TOs as a coach's kid. I also remember Altman's only K-State tourney team that had a seasonlong problem and getting booted in the first round because they piled up TOs against Georgia.
Like, it sure seems like you haven't watched much decent college basketball. Inconsistency is the name of the game for just about everyone. You can choose to nitpick kids for making mistakes against tough teams on the road in the best conference in basketball, or you can choose to enjoy a truly magical season full of great plays, great personalities, and plenty of wins. Your choice!

Also that Altman team lost to Tulane but go off you son of a coach

Yes K-State has too many turnovers, and Nowell is a turnover machine, I mean, imagine having 8 assists in a game and still only having an assist to turnover ratio of 1.14:1

Yes, if it continues it will probably cost K-State the opportunity to advance in the NCAA tourney just like it's cost K-State a chance to win the Dr. Pepper.

But the season has still been a blast and I know the resident too cool for school crowd isn't the list bit phased by the many many stupid turnovers.  So it's all good

it’s ok for fans to want their teams to be something that their teams aren’t, pretty much every fan does

It's all good, cRusty

The too cool for schoolers gets all  :curse: whenever anybody talks about playing better fundamental basketball.  Better fundamental basketball just rings of not being fun, and the too cool for schooler has no tolerance for something that sounds less fun even if it means winning more games.

All that aside, it's been a fun year so far.

Fans gonna bitch sure, but the perceptual contrast here is just so great it seems wildly anti-fun.  It's legitimately insane what Tang has done this season.  Three years of shat in trash courtesy of oscar and boom immediately very good.  He portaled a bent baby dick into a bubble level straight porno male genitals.  Conversely, oscar put Illinois in the shitter yes, but not nearly to the extent he was allowed to at gE U, and then we had five long years of jon groce alternately jerking off and puking into that same toilet.  It took Brad two more years just to unclog it.  The go purple faithful are truly blessed.  Imagine coach's kid-ing this crap.  Rofl lmao lol

Nice important win. Sad to see team's, Nowell's TO problems return. On the plus side, a lot o guys beside Quis and Key stepped up at critical times. Sill at the end of the half, Carter in crunch time, Ish somehat too.

Jesus Christ enjoyed the win

It is possible to "enjoy the win" and talk about other things as well.  Most intelligent people can do that.

I agree dax.  I find my personal enjoyment of a thing is materially enhanced when I can sit in judgement of others participating in that thing high upon my throne of sub-mediocrity.  I say yes this thing is good, BUT it could be better.  It is in the passing of judgment that I am then permitted to be truly pleased.  Particularly if I myself or a person I personally know did the thing at a level far below those I am now judging.  It is the best.  This could be peculiar to me though and not generalized to most late to middle-aged Midwesternish white men.

Mr. Bread, rooting for Illinois must be excruciatingly frustrating this year

On the contrary, they provide ample opportunity for me to judge the eff out of them.  Which I like.  Too much of a good thing at this point?  Hard to say.

As chefs fans we are just used to greatness thanks to Mahomes and get perturbed if any of our 18-22 year old good/great katz players have any flaws.

I am willing to bear that cross for another 10+ years tho.

It is entirely possible for intelligent people to talk about various things that occur in basketball games both good and bad.

Stating the factually obvious is not any sort of indictment on 18-22 year olds on a personal level.

This is not hard to understand.

The bent in here is turning very tuck like.  I always thought gE was generally cut from a tougher cloth and could handle talking about the obvious, and knowing the poster was not or is not detracting from the overall happiness of winning games unless they just flat out said so . . .

MIR during OSU game:
"Cam Carter has missed his last 6 3s and has only made 3 of his last 16. Bruh needs a red light."
MIR after the game:
"I had a board lurker send me a text wondering if the whining ITT was real or gEing, I had to break the news that it was very much real."

Leaving aside MIR's blatant hypocrisy, it deliciously ironic that Cam hit one of the biggest 3s of the game (which with his 2 clutch FTs is why I praised him in my post MIR and MICat found not worshipful enough).

Agree with the tuck drift of the board. What attracted me to gE was the rejection of lame boosterism that tends to populate fan board and the collection of witty posters nearly all of whom have moved on. I remember entertaining Peggy positives and Nancy negatives being posted after every important basketball game. Well, we couldn't have that anymore. Nancy negatives would be condemned as "whining" by the neo-tuck would-be censorious overlords hereabouts.
