When I get contacts every year I send in for the rebate on them and always say I'm a first time user of that type of lens and use a new email address and they send me the bigger rebate.

the baseball club we belong to gives our team a set number of cage reservation slots each season but we have some family memberships on the team and we just make all of our families book their daily 30 minute cage slot where we want it and hog up like 5 cages/pitching lanes at a time all off season when our team is there.

A golf course near me started to sit range balls in buckets outside when Covid first started and wanted you to pay online, so you didn’t have to come in. They never stopped doing this and now I have a lifetime of free range balls.

A friends sister buys me things like DriDuck coats through the distributor she works for at huge discounts . . . it's supposed to be for personal use or immediate family only.

Figure it's Super Max when we're caught, but the last coat she got me is fantastically warm and waterproof.

A long time ago I worked for the USDA. They trashed a lot of very usable fantastic things, it was really disgusting. I would lightly throw things into the dumbster and then take them home.

Drawing table lights, huge mercury vapor lights (which were installed for a number of years in a large barn in Kansas) and many other items that should have gone to surplus sale but they just trashed.

I'm pretty sure that when I've used the 'self scanner' lanes at a store that 100% of my items haven't gotten scanned.

. Ultimately I don't feel too bad because after I've tried to scan something several times and I don't get the green trigger, I just say eff it.

One of the car threads I detailed four wheeling on the Corps of Engineers ground around Clinton Lake. It was posted no vehicles with a $500 fine.

Buried the Bronco in shallow water on my 18th birthday.

Me and my buddies had to trek 3 miles to farm house to get a pick up, tractor, and chains to pull it out at 1 am in the moonlight.

Three of us driving back out I ran over a stump with my cousins truck and tore off the oil filter. Ran it dry all the way and it died, smoking in the barn.
