A disaster of a day.  They happen.

But the inability to stop the ball, the recovery after the press break, the weak ass turnovers.   Goodness.

Everyone with a clue knew Dixon would hack and slap this game up

We lost. You don't have to move the goalposts to next year.

I sure we would have won easily today had Miles missed the game like he did last year at TCU.

Redshirting Colbert instead of Finster might have been a regrettable decision.

You're gonna need to explain this one, bud.

We’re extremely weak inside, and he’s a 6’10” 240 lb body. Obviously losing Dave N’Guessan exacerbates the problem significantly. Maybe he’s too raw, Tang and staff obviously know better than I do.

We really need Dave back.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Can you play in four games in hoops and still redshirt like you can in football?

Yeah, that and Finster isn't a big. We definitely need a traditional big, at times, but like you said the coaches know if he's ready or not and I don't know how many minutes would have been there for him anyway, particularly if N'Guessan didn't get hurt. Looks like he's getting ready to come back, he was in the walk through yesterday.

No, not really. You're eligible for a medical redshirt if you play in less than 10% of the teams games.

I only used Finster as an example, because I’d heard there was debate over they would use the redshirt on. I think we’re in general agreement. I’d take a flyer on Colbert, but what do I know?

Tomlin is a train wreck defensively. Bey Bey (what are we calling him?) is competent imo, but needs help. Ish plays tough in there but is slow and small. Why don’t we ever double? I’m confused by the defensive strategy other than ball pressure and other perimeter stuff.

So often put guys are looking away from the ball, not helping, flat-footed. The transition defense is really frustrating — other than Sills.

Defense comes down to coaching tho, so it’s gotta be tough to create a care free open style of offense, but be disciplined on the other end.

It's ultimately up to the player as to whether or not they red shirt. They could have red shirted both or neither of them and it wouldn't have made a difference. Some of the minutes Ish has been playing are minutes that Finister got earlier in the season.

We do double team, did it a bit today. Double teaming is pretty tough when your defense weakness is in the front court, like we are.

The player can be open to not red shirting and not know he’s not going to get minutes the entire season from it as well, which is what is happening right now, and his mannerisms show it.

He is and he’s fun to watch, but he makes a rattle rimming duck for the ages and then gives two up. His curve needs to go quickly!

Our offense greatly contributed to our bad defensive numbers today. When you turn the ball over 19 times against a team that likes to run, your going go get smoked on the other end. Unfortunately, Quis and Keyontae had a big hand in this.

Hopefully, everyone second guesses Tang next year when Colbert comes on strong and gives a real presence at center.

I’m looking forward to the day when beating KU isn’t the season. Unfortunately we have a Baylor mole as a head coach.
