This sport is awful.  Painful to watch in so many ways.

How did all these 22 year olds run out of gas?
The refereeing was shambolic but it ultimately didn't matter.
Pulisic got the assist but his set pieces were a total disaster.

LOL.  If you think there was a lot of flopping in that game wait until you watch Mexico or South American teams.

It will probably depend on who gets their asses kicked less by England to determine who gets out of the group.

England can very easily lose or draw with either of those two teams. Iran is bad. They've played 10 matches this year, largely against terrible teams and have only scored two goals, twice.

That'd be great, I just feel like they'll tie england and then it's up to the Iran game and while that should be an easy dub USMNT just, well, I hope not

nah, need a result against England though. We should be fine with a win and a draw. Goal differential between Wales and the USA against Iran might be worth watching.

we aren't getting a result against england and then we are going to be confronted with needing to score a bunch against iran and england being ambivalent about winning against wales.

That's why I am where I'm at. A win makes us moving on while not a for sure thing but a highly likely thing, a draw basically mean we have to draw at least England and beat Iran by potentially some goals. I just don't like that
