fairly evenly matched with ENG, i thought.

haven't watched either Iran game, hard to know what to expect based on their results.

well that sucks.

If you would have told me before the tournament that the US would advance to the knockout round with a win against Iran I would have taken it 13 times out of 10 and twice on Sunday. If you can't beat Iran wtf are we even talking about

I defy you to find a more punchable face than Harry Kane

He is like not even 75th percentile punchable

Correct, Kane is not a super punchable face

Instant google pic reaction. Nobody who was ever cool and fun to hang out with ever looked like that guy.

Verdict: extremely punchable
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Can confirm that nobody wants to hang out with Harry Kane.

I’ve seen like 3 goals this entire tournament. Not sure why everyone feels so confident vs Iran.

We are going to run circles around Iran. Who do we want in the round of 16?

well, we've never won a game and have always tied every game, so i dunno, just feel like it'd be better if we'd get a positive outcome if we tied (again).

Not sure the team's twitter page needed to bring that heat on the team but whatever, for a good cause. they can handle some mean questions from Iran "media"

I’m noticing a pattern, an inability to score goals, which is an essential element to winning games.
