So you don't think the score will be anything close to 55-14? The point is that is an absolutely ridiculous score line. If you agree then we'll call it good, if you don't put up some money, I'm not giving juice, I'm not taking hundreds of bets.
I guess i think it will be of the 55-14 ilk in that a) i believe we are going to lose by at least 3 TDs and b) I think 35 is the fewest amount of points OU is going to score. I dunno, maybe i'm wrong here, but in my humble opinion, when a team is getting blown out by 21+ pts - i.e. a non-competitive game wherein the outcome is not in doubt by the 5:00 minute mark in the first quarter, then the difference between 35 and 55 is how long they feel like leaving in their 1st stringers, or if they want to make it feel like it wasn't personal then they were doing it to "make a statement to the playoff committee" but my point being 55-14, 35-3, 42-10, these final scores i would absolutely lump together as a "that type of game"
So like, yeah, do i think we will lose by 35? yes, i do. Do i necessarily think that OU will run it up to 55 just because they feel like it when they have absolutely no reason to do so other than just for kidzies aroundzies? Well i wouldn't put a bill on it. I mean you could even see during the NU game if OU had wanted to it could have been 70-7 but for several reasons coaches don't take that tact. Like if you leave the 1st stringers in when its 63-7 then yeah probably one of those DEs is going to gladly sit out the first half of the next game in exchange for launching himself full speed leading with the crown on his helmet right into the earhole of your QB1 who had already thrown the ball like a full 2 seconds ago and has no idea he's about to go through the concusion protocols at best, or at worst leave the field on a cart.
