Using the Book of #blueanongE as our guide - unnamed sources are the same as sworn testimony in a CoL (caveat: But only if it makes a Pub look/sound bad)

Dax, no one is going to defend the Harris campaign about anything. You should take a vacation, bask in the glory of your victory, and come back refreshed and ready to argue about something new.

He’s already promised this will be the last time we have to vote.
And he’s a man of his word, eh?

Are there 5 Supreme Court justices who would make a choice to interpret the 22nd amendment to mean 2 CONSECUTIVE terms?

Probably only Thomas and Alito would make that choice, IMO.

Quote

As of November 2024, the U.S. Supreme Court justices can be ranked from most conservative to most liberal based on their judicial decisions and ideological leanings:

   1.   Clarence Thomas: Widely regarded as the most conservative justice, Thomas consistently advocates for originalist interpretations of the Constitution. (Statista)
   2.   Samuel Alito: Known for his conservative rulings, particularly on issues like religious freedom and abortion. (Statista)
   3.   Neil Gorsuch: Appointed by President Trump, Gorsuch often aligns with conservative principles, especially in cases involving administrative law and religious rights. (Statista)
   4.   Brett Kavanaugh: Also a Trump appointee, Kavanaugh generally supports conservative viewpoints but has occasionally sided with liberal justices in certain decisions. (Statista)
   5.   Amy Coney Barrett: The most recent addition to the Court, Barrett is recognized for her conservative stance, particularly on issues like abortion and gun rights. (Statista)
   6.   John Roberts (Chief Justice): While appointed by a Republican president and often leaning conservative, Roberts has sometimes acted as a swing vote, aiming to preserve the Court’s institutional integrity. (Wikipedia)
   7.   Elena Kagan: Appointed by President Obama, Kagan is considered a liberal justice, advocating for progressive interpretations of the law. (Statista)
   8.   Sonia Sotomayor: Known for her liberal views, Sotomayor often emphasizes the rights of defendants and marginalized communities. (Statista)
   9.   Ketanji Brown Jackson: The newest member of the Court, Jackson is perceived as a liberal justice, though comprehensive analyses of her judicial leanings are still emerging. (Statista)

This ranking reflects the justices’ general ideological tendencies but does not account for individual case nuances where justices may diverge from their typical positions.

I mean, the supreme court could rule and he could say, Ok, try to enforce it.

if you click through to the article there's an interactive chart and that giant blue arrow is actually jackson county missouri. Johnson county shifted slightly right.

There are 6 supreme court justices who would rule that way. There'll be at least 7 by 2028.

cRusty - there's no way in the world I am going to take a vacation and miss you having a meltdown(s) about various rando's on Twitter

I am also not asking anyone to defend the Harris campaign.

Relative to your recent post, I suppose we can officially declare that the mishandling of the border was a definitive FAFO moment for #blueanon political leadership and its white virtue signaling constituency who are all for sanctuary status . . . as long as they don't have to deal with it.

They will not pass a bill, blame the Deep State / RINOs for the failure and continue to fundraise off of Fox News hits and committee hearing soundbites.

no to both but I bet libsoftiktok and fox news will stop blaming every crime committed by an immigrant on the executive branch. at least in a year or so

yep, same old same old. Its going to be funny now that Trump is back, R's will remember once again how laws are made and just blame the RINOs in the house for not getting a bill passed. They couldn't even elect a freaking speaker. if anything, they will pass or pretend to pass something around the next election to show people how much they really care about it. They don't care about the border. They care about using anything to do with the border to help them win elections and it works almost every time.

There quite literally was a border bill that Dems and republicans would have passed except Trump was worried it would take away one of his campaign issues.

that and the crap show it is when its time to fund the government when there is a democratic president. I'm willing to bet that won't be an issue the next 4 years for some reason.

I always enjoy #blueanongE clutching its pearls at the timing of legislation and who is for or against legislation based on timing.

Yet all of us smart people know that #blueanon legislators are persistently pushing unacceptable legislation for Republicans in order to "get them on record"

#blueanongE will 1000% avoid all discussion about unrelated tack on's to said legislation.

Once again affirming that #blueanon has absolutely no tolerance for any disagreement. Children . . .  :frown:

I think we are going to see some legislation. There is no second term he has to be reelected for and there are many a zealot in Congress. I think we will see a non-standard 4 years. Then, JD will either run on that as if it was his, or he will run against it to the center, depending on the winds.
