Bradford went 5 for 5 for 11 points and snagged 4 rebounds in Wake's victory against Georgia. Wake fans on Reddit say he lost 40 pounds during the offseason and is moving well.

That makes sense. He was legit before he got pneumonia and gained all that weight.

Nah, that weight gain was on Bradford. Y'all know in very pro student athlete, they work hard and they sacrifice a lot. To gain as much weight as he did, at his age, that's a lot of bad habits and a little of doing the things you're expected to do as a college athlete.

I'm very happy for him, I hope he improves on the promise he showed as a freshman.

I just don't see a Tang allowing one of his players to slide that badly during the offseason. He just seems so much more connected to his team and demanding of offseason conditioning/work habits.

I have no idea what happened in general. The idea that Tang wanted all of the players that left to leave doesn't make complete sense to me. The idea that all the players that left wanted to leave also doesn't make complete sense to me.

Bradford didn’t fit what the coaches wanted out of a big.  He’s more of an old school air craft carrier center.

I wouldn't bet on someone who put on a bunch of weight shedding it in a short time frame, either. The change in scenery likely helped him out there.

It's not like he's going to be all-ACC or anything. He had a dece game against a bad Georgia team. This is about Bradford salvaging his college career after bloating up under the watchful eyes of Oscar and mailing in last year.

Yeah he was, even in high school. Look at Bay Bay and N'Guessan, Bradford isn't and hasn't been that mobile, versatile. That's not necessarily bad, just not what Tang looks for in bigs. I don't remember Baylor having a traditional 90's type center either.

Miami is 3-0.  Pack has scored 16 (Lafayette), 14 (UNC Greensboro) and 4 (FAMU). Good but not great.

lol. It's ok to still root for former cats. You don't have to prove anything with their stat lines.

Yea they came across more sarcastic than it was supposed to.  I want Bradford to succeed.  I was always really excited for his potential.

Yeah, his Freshman year was pretty fun. I was hoping he'd lose a few lbs, but he still kinda looks big there.

I was curious about Max Edwards too, since we never got to see him play here. He's doing well at George Washington.

I think most of the former cats from last year ended up in a lot better spots where they can thrive. Most of them went down a level or two where they belonged and are being productive at their new schools.

Look at Bradford feasting!

Not gE'ing here, I had forgotten about the existence of Davidson Bradford. Maybe that is the effect that watching Tomlin's  thunderdunks has on one's memory.
