By Tang's calculus 25 percent of those in the portal weren't told to move on. There's some real talent in the portal already, some of whom we've offered, but haven't heard anything of visits. That doesn't mean there wasn't any, but it would seem the staff would let that info leak to calm the waters with all the defections and to build buzz. A little red meat recruiting news would do a lot to abate fan jitters.

Sounds like Tang is in the process of convincing all of the top players in the country with no intention of transferring to come to K-State.

Perhaps, Tang and Co. are confident enough in their abilities to identify and land dudes they don’t find it necessary to appease the fickle worries of the KSU fanbase.

Well I think win relatively soon or endure like a decade of crappy sports before firing coach then AD sums up basically every high major school so you are easy to please.
