hungary has a pretty solid MAGA thing going on
If we are talkin’ countries that irl could use some de-nazification then Italy has very recently exploded to the top of the list.

As US policy (and sabotage) decimates European (particularly German) industry.

Which country on the planet potentially has the most to gain?

Could it be the one that declared that by 2025 it wanted to be the dominate world industrial power?  The one that gives virtually no fucks about the environment so it will burn gas, coal, oil or whatever it takes to keep their plants running (outside of purposeful Covid shutdowns) in the most air polluted/airborne particulate cities in the world?

Are US #neocons doing Xi’s bidding?

Developing . . .

connecting dots back to your chicom joe narrative

 got it

So far today we’ve established that #neocongE desired/desires the same outcomes as:

Italian Nationalists
Ukrainian  Ultranationalists
Condi Rice
Don Trump
and of course - The PNAC’ers, Rand Corp et al  in charge of the current administration

Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

pretty good thread on pipeline explosion speculation.  as the thread notes, none of the possibilities make any sense and there's one country that is the far and away leader on making nonsensical foreign policy decisions lately.

couple of russo-optimist datapoints i've seen lately.

1.  the iranian drones seem to be causing some problems for ukraine.  and russia seems to have a lot of them.
2.  one of the conscript videos talked about a month of training.  so there may be a two-pronged strategy where they throw some in immediately to stop bleeding territory (and start bleeding conscripts) while they train others to be more effective replacements longer-term.

Oh man, you’ve got Rand on down openly talking about cutting off the EU from cheap energy for years, Biden openly talking about stopping Nordstream (by any means) and #neocons immediately try to establish Putin blew up his own pipeline and rendered it (likely) unusable forever.

The last War on the Rocks pod highlighted this point. The conscripts wouldn't be able to operate tanks in a armored attack or adjusting artillery fire but they would have some use manning a defensive position until more can be trained, etc.

'Grats to Qatar LNG suppliers and Chinese LNG/(Russian) oil re-sellers, huge profits ahead thanks to Joe's handlers wrecking Nordstream.

Enjoy

U.S. LNG suppliers will also take full of advantage of Joe shitting all over our alleged European "allies".

Spewing millions of tons of Methane into the sea and subsequently the atmosphere.  Methane . . . the worst of the worst "global warming" gas according the administration that blew up the pipeline.

More wars headed our way has over 100 countries are looking to develop their own crypto-currency, completely by-passing traditional exchanges.   China and Russia already well on the way to establishing settlements via crypto, completely by-passing SWIFT etc. etc.

It's all going according to plan.

It’s wild the stuff you post in here Dax. Keeps me on my toes for sure. I don’t read the long form so if that’s all well reasoned then apologies for missing it.

The best part Steve is all the usual explainers that (for example) are trying to give all the (coping) reasons as to why Putin would blow up his own pipeline.

"If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another Nordstream will not move forward"  Victoria "eff the EU" Nuland

Relative to LNG from Qatar and China re-selling Russian oil, I've already posted articles about that.

The Atlantic Council and others are talking about the move crypto-currency, and I of course have already discussed BRIC's et. al. and moving away from SWIFT.

Dax what do you think Russia’s response will be to the definitive proof that the US just blew up their pipeline?

Friendly reminder that peace was a legitimate option in April, but squelched by Boris Johnson/US.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
