Hasn't been this much division in the gE family since the Waters/Sams debates of the early 2010's. Thanks a lot, Putin.

Fantastic anecdotal stories, then a Ukrainian spokesperson broke in and demanded a NATO no fly zone based on the anecdotal story.

i'm kind of amazed ukraine is in a position to launch a counteroffensive (if they, in fact, are doing that).

I’m not trying to be flip here, but I have followed a bit of the military talk and I am surprised to hear people report that Russia has not established air superiority.

Like are we in the midst of realizing that all these old tanks and apcs are basically dogshit against any kind of resistance and that drones can make the cost benefit of losing billion dollar planes/pilots at a regular clip not worth it?

‘Merica

(As an add on to KK.   Prolific Cold War tactics by neocon-America over the last 4 years to convince low IQ #blueanon that Russia was closing the military gap).

I think it's safe to say that a lot, possibly a majority, of Americans don't know the potential ramifications of a instituting a no-fly zone.

the whole thing is surprising, but i think the most parsimonious explanation is probably that the russians consider it too costly to fly as much as they theoretically could.

i did see this tweet discussing, but i haven't read the article.

just read the quotes in the tweet, but yes.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
