Seems really cool. Will also be ungodly expensive.

Yeah, will likely be similar to Miami this year, so $2k for a weekend ticket. Hotels will be insane

Locals and regular Vegas attendees basically can’t be in town during this whole thing, huh?

Likely not, they’re expecting 180k+ visitors for it.

I'm sure, and that's why between that and the traffic (both actually changing roads for this and all these people moving around), I wouldn't want to be there unless I was actually partaking in the race stuff.

Yeah unless you’re there for the Grand Prix there’s no reason to be in Vegas that weekend.

Red Bull needs to figure their crap out or they’re gonna end up a mid field team this year

Yeah, i think Redbull is in a lot of trouble.  I imagine they finish 2nd in the constructor because you can do upgrades all season to fix reliability, but you can’t upgrade the power unit on a reliable car.

I think they probably have 2 of the 4 fastest cars on the track, but Leclerc is on a whole different level in the Ferrari right now.  Im a fan of Sainz, but he just seems to have the oddest luck, so he’s probably not taking points from Leclerc

I don’t really love the sprint qualifying format. But it’s more racing to watch with points on the line so I guess I shouldn’t complain.

Was great entertainment this morning, hopefully doesn’t lead to a boring race tmrw. Ver/Lec/Per should be fun.

I think Formula 1 is going to have to have some difficult decisions with race tracks in the near future.  I think they only signed a 5 year deal to have this race, and if the track isn’t adjusted, i doubt they renew.

Could be, i’m not sure Sainz will survive unscathed tomorrow with his luck lately.  Hard to tell what Max would have done had he not messed up on his flying lap.

Hopefully a fun race, I’m expecting some carnage.

LMAO at the grid walk reporter thinking he was interviewing Patrick Mahomes. It was Paolo Banchero.

Seems that Ferrari is now having the reliability issues.

Ferrari has had a rough stretch here. looks like that has opened the door for Mercedes to get back into the hunt.

The decision making on that team is incredibly questionable and it always happens at the worst times.

The last few weeks would be even worse for them if Carlos hadn’t blatantly ignored orders from the pit wall.

I don’t know what their strategy team does to prepare for a race, but it’s not working

Agreed, it looks like everyone but Sainz (who im happy for) was pissed off about the outcome that day.  Sainz standing up to team orders was the best strategy made by a Ferrari team member all day.

This reddit thread is an interesting read.

Ferrari got the strategy right today. Too bad the engine blew up. Happy to see Haas in the points. They had some good speed.

finally was able to watch the french gp. good lord wtf is Ferrari doing? Leclerc can't get his crap together and the strategy team seems to be intentionally trying to screw with sainz.
