GoPowercat has been terrible, just terrible.  Almost entirely filled with old-person ramblings about two day old newspaper reports. 

Meanwhile, we have a rough ridin' fleet of twitter and news updates as every event evolves....and it's completely free.


Steve Dave and Rick Daris have really taken the lead on this, along with several others.  Bravo fellas, this site has been amazing.

I'm still wondering why i even bother with a subscript to gpc, trying to figure out who will be the best site in terms of recruiting in our new/old conference.

any ideas?

Completely serious.  I've been swamped with work the whole weekend, and I can find out everything I need to know about the day's events in a  neatly organized narrative thread. Pretty great (and dramatic when you read 12-15 hrs of elite BBSing in a 15 minute binge...)

After it's all said and done, you guys should put the entire thread in a book and sell it on the front page.  Full Color, Unedited (except to make it book page size).

It would probably start a whole new genre.

I mean that smoke your cigars thread is gonna be the Granddaddy of 'em all and is likely to never be touched by another thread.  By the time this whole thing is done that thread will most def. have more views than could fit in MHK KazzuQhatz LHC Bill Snyder Fun Bowl Stadium.  <---New name?   :pray:
