I've been under the assumption that BV left because he was annoyed he was asked to be Co-DC with the worst Stoops brother (who eventually got fired anyway).  As picky as he's been on HC vacancies, that might be enough for him to say no.

crap, eight wins is what they might get. They have a lot of roster building to do and they don't have a QB on the roster. They're going to have to kill it in the transfer portal.

The extended scholarship thingie for next year will come at the perfect time for a lot of schools.
