I'd like to say my house, but I don't own a gun, so I guess not. I would beat someone invading my house if I had to, but that isn't about the actual house but the people inside of it.
I'm not talking about protecting your castle, i.e., your real property. I don't own a gun either. I'm not opposed to owning one, I just happen not to. Whenever I have to kill a man, I always do it with fists or close-range, old-school weapons. Really makes one reflect on things.
I can't think of a single piece of personal property I own that is worth the use of deadly force to prevent the theft of. (Leaving aside intangible personal property, such as my vast crypto holdings.) Maybe my feline friend, but even so I'd be like, "Did you really break in just to kill my rough ridin' cat, that I already don't like?!"
