Hope the kid's great, but the choice to wear sleeves isn't inspiring confidence.

Next time somebody is in Vegas, would you put down a C note for me on Rubley? I’m good for it. Deuce Vaughn’s odds are a joke. Adrian Martinez might be worth putting a crisp one dollar bill on

Cats AM is 140 to 1, Jake is 200 to 1, and Deuce is 100 to 1.  Texas QB is 40 to 1, RB is 35 to 1.  Does anyone think there is some blue blood bias involved?

Now that Sylvester Stallone won’t be coming to his games, I’ve lost interest in Jake. Sounds like Sylvester is getting a divorce from Jake’s aunt

Would’ve been nice to have Jake’s aunt and cousins at our games. They would’ve really classed the place up. They could have visited all the tailgates and mooch food pregame with Robert

This says a lot about Klieman and his development with QBs.  From everything I had heard, Rubley was quite aways from #3.  Pretty cool if they might trust him to be #2 this year to conserve Howard's eligibility.

I mean, that quote sounded like ‘if Adrian has to miss a play, Jake will do.’ That didn’t exactly sound like a huge compliment

I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for wacky to step in here and make another bet that Rubley makes a 53 man roster in the NFL.

However this shakes out I hope we don't lose both of them after the season.

I like what I'm seeing from Jake so far in this garbage time appearance.  Not making any NFL predictions quite yet, though.

Jake looks not bad.  Might even say comfortable.  Garbage time or not, impressive.

If Jake plays his cards right, he might keep Johnson on the bench next year.

Maybe redshirt Johnson.

A redshirt year for Avery to eat alot of biscuits would be ideal. Even more ideal is he is a complete stud as a true freshmen and we have no choice but to start him.

Next season will be Jake's third year and if he plays with accuracy and conformance as in this game, he'll be the starter.

The little I watched, he played well. He got a little too antsy at times, but he looked the part.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.
