Along with that, the "but some people" news stories that invariably result from like 2 people on a twitter reply just being contrarians making a news story always makes me roll my eyes. Like, "Today the city of Blah Blah is celebrating *pick a thing*, but some people on twitter though think it's not a good idea/hate it/think it goes to far/doesn't go far enough/etc." It's so dumb and lazy and if you watch local news they do it all. the. time. Sometimes on national, and cable news news too.

ESPN is the worst at this but I have noticed the KC Start does it alot as well "Chiefs players trade jokes on twitter" and its just screen shots of their tweets.
