BAC do you need someone to explain roman numerals to you?

Also, Acie Law was recently trending in twitter for this

https://twitter.com/anthonyVslater/status/1351418972416081922

rusty there were some layers to my comment but i'll go ahead and break it down. first UT built their clock tower, and then after that TAMU built Albritton bell tower, and while the towers were similar one notable difference was A&M used IIII and UT used IV. According to kooky aggie lore, they did this because they didn't want their tower to look too similar to UTs. So it was just kind of a subtle nod to their weird obsession with UT. So the way this ties back to Acie was that they put IV on his uniform...I was noting I found it strange since - and you may not be aware of this - but texas a&m has a bit of a reputation for being especially weird about stuff and that weirdness seems to know virtually no bounds...it surprised me that they would do IV instead of IIII to follow suit with the aesthetic of their belltower.

Thanks for clearing that up about the roman numerals tho!
lol I had no idea

So did you think everyone knew the clock tower story and would therefore understand your post?

nope, its kind of an obscure bit of aggie trivia. Just the way rusty asked if i needed someone to explain roman numerals to me, i was worried maybe he thought i was completely stupid or something? So i was providing some context to my comparison of IIII vs IV which was otherwise apropos of nothing

I didn't think you were stupid but I did think you didn't know how roman numerals work.

Our program is now in the position where losing to us is a fireable offense.

Dixon better watch his ass.

When weren't we in that position, in like every sport? Particularly programs like Iowa State, Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and West Virginia, there's a healthy amount of, "K-State can do it, why can't we?" We do the same thing

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/T._J._Otzelberger

Quote
Otzelberger has been widely regarded as one of the top recruiters in the nation. His efforts have helped secure the services of Cyclone greats Mike Taylor, Craig Brackins, Diante Garrett, Scott Christopherson, Chris Babb, Chris Allen, Will Clyburn, Korie Lucious, Melvin Ejim, Georges Niang, Naz Long, and Matt Thomas, among others.

There’s a reason Hoiberg retained/promoted him. Gotta know who you can trust..

Apparently Otzelberger is friends with Potato Head Man and his wife is a former flood aggie basketball player. I don't think he will recruit better than Prohm did. I'd like to think that Prohm is the better coach but he just finished 0-18 so that would be silly. Their trading the coach of the 10th best Big 12 program to the coach of the 6th best Mountain West program.

Worst of luck to them.

I've assumed this was happening for a while. He was going to be the guy in 2015 until President Leath stiff-armed Pollard.
