Canada could come out a huge winner in this by just taking on all the good states. The remaining MAGA states would be land locked out west though. Also Colorado would be pissed and probably go free agent.

This.  But, if the net result is all of the G. I. Jokes from the south want to move out, we should consider cutting the fat.

But in reality, the net takers won't go anywhere.  They are not self sufficient.

Imagine being such a simpleton that while living in a state where the flagship university went running to the Southeastern conference.  Where the entire history of that state is one of empathy and kinship with the confederacy.  A state where the KKK feels so at ease that they openly recruit and advertise  from the highway overpasses.

On top of being a place that has 750,000 more fat people than say Alabama.
