Yes - the companies always put a PR spin on it because they often leave behind substantial operations.  But everyone knows the primary reason in most instances.

You can understand someone like Boeing moving-they wanted the C-suite closer to the uniparty grift state in DC. Makes sense

(One example) Why did NYSE-Chicago become NYSE-Texas?? They just had a hankering for pepper based bbq? NASDAQ putting substantial operations in Texas - just for the hell of it I suppose.
