Monolithic in thought pertains almost exclusively with some deviations to things such as the insane conspiracies about conservatives. 

In this case, you have a movement that unfortunately #blueanon political and thought leaders are convincing is having a "genocide" committed against them, which is completely untrue and is actually real and dangerous rhetoric, as we've now seen first hand.  What's even more frightening is that you have this insanity being propagated on the back of legislatures trying to stop insane people from going Mengele on children.

There is a history here. Ronald Reagan implemented some of the most strict gun control legislation in our nation while governor of California in 1967 all because he got triggered when he saw the black panthers open carrying. Maybe we need to lean into history and have more minorities open carrying if we want to see any kind of progress when it comes to gun legislation again.
