I bought my first pair of joggers a couple weeks ago and I feel like a damn fool in them.  I don't think I'm wearing the right shoes with them?  Advice?

oh I know I kind of look like crap in them, but I just don't gaf.  I wear an athletic quarter zip with black vans or black addidas skater shoes and my white socks show.  It is v comfy and makes me happy.

I can’t stand the leg feel with joggers. I used to break the elastic on my sweatpants as a kid too.

second vote for levis. on top of being relatively cheap they are proven to be durable and come in any fit/style you need. also the cool music guys you like wear levis probably.

Aren't there like 700 different versions of Levis? Do they have a fancy comfy brand is should be looking for? I've grown accustomed to my fancy jeans. Sorry for my LLIQ.

Levi's is pretty straightforward, just pick the cut you like: https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/features/men-jeans

But I don't really know what you're looking for so I'd suggest going to the fancy jeans websites and buying new versions of what you already own.

lol, didn't realize I luke'd you Mich

I'm not skinny enough (or young enough) to wear them so tight like the kids. I wear them a bit baggier, but much less baggy than regular sweats, and they are pretty comfy.

In HS I had fleece sweats/pants with no elastic at the bottom from Foot Locker. I’d pay a lot to have those again.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

Button Fly

Non-stretch

Everything else is just pretending to be jeans.

Prewashed or shrink to fit?

For me I prefer the stonewash look, but if you are cool with the dark indigo denim, then shrink to fit for sure.

I bought these running pants for half off in both M and L because the Nike store properly precluded offering dressing room death dens.

https://www.nike.com/t/essential-mens-woven-running-pants-J5vDVs/BV4833-010

Wouldn’t have helped. Tried them on last night at home and M fits lengthwise like the picture but they’re borderline tights and you can probably tell which ball remains. L is less porno but they’re long and kind of bunch up at the bottom.

Lots of people in the reviews say similar but less blunt.

Are the models for these things genitalia-less?

Got a pair of these. (my favorite)

And these. (Still comfy but like athletic vs relaxed fit)

Back to office a few days a week. Amazon pants are in the rotation. Also wearing the Allbirds for the comfy casual office days.

Guys.. I have to make a confession. I have a pair of cargo shorts and I like them. OK! Like I'm not going to wear them on a date with the wife but backyard playing cornhole with the buds you can slip a few frosty barley pops in your side pocket just a stud dad move imo. Whats that you need a bottle opener? no problem thats in here too.

i give cargo shorts what i like to call the "quarter mile rule" and for the folks at home the quarter mile rule means its okay to wear cargo shorts as long as you will not be going more than a quarter mile from your home. Obviously they also qualify under the "quick errand" rule, like if you need to run to the grocery store b/c you forgot eggs nobody will hold it against you for not changing into something more appropriate for public consumption.

I got these patagonia shorts at pathfinder a while back and I really like them. You can get keys, phone, wallet in them with out doing the full on cargo thing. Still have some cargos around, as well to maintain my #basicdad vibe

Is worrying about wearing cargo shorts an old people fashion thing? I'm truly not in a position to know, but I kinda think it is.

Like, aren't the people who disliked cargo shorts the same age as the people who liked skinny jeans, which are definitely for old people now?

I wear whatever my fiancé buys me. Maybe she's making me undesirable in the cargo shorts.

I'm old and I'm worried about it.
